Between June 12 and 15th, InterLan delegation takes part in the works of the 36th Forum of the Euro-IX organization, held in Tampere, Finland. During the for days of Forum, the participants will engage in presentations for technical solutions and new technologies and will discuss about common collaboration projects.

2022-05-18 - RIPE 84

The “RIPE 84”event organized by RIPE NCC takes place in Berlin during the 16th – 20th of May 2022. The event brings together Internet service providers (ISPs), network operators and other RIPE community members from around the world. InterLan Internet Exchange delegation engages in the 5 days of presentations, tutorial sessions, workshops and free discussions.

2022-05-13 - Global Peering Forum 2022

InterLAN team attended between the 10th and 13th of May the “Global Peering Forum 2022“, an event that took place in Gaylord National Harbor, Maryland.

The event gathered together global representatives of ISPs, CDNs, cloud and interconnection service providers sharing the same interests and ideas during three days of meetings, presentations and networking events.

2022-05-04 - Romanian Fiber Optic Conference 2022

“Romanian Fiber Optic Conference” is the most awaited event in the fiber optic industry in Romania and this year it took place on 04.05.2022 at Radisson Blu Bucharest. The event was structured in two sections and contained presentations and debates on national topics of common interest, this year’s theme being “Fiber Optic Infrastructure for Smart Cities and Smart Communities”.

The delegation of the Interlan Association also attended the event, and Eric Băleanu was invited to moderate discussions within the second panel dedicated to network operators.

We applaud the organizers of the Romanian Fiber Optic Conference for the initiative and for the realization of a successful event!

2022-04-28 - Peering Days 2022

On April 27th and 28th 2022, InterLAN attends the annual international conference ”Peering Days 2022” which takes place in Athens, Greece. Experts, engineers, peering managers, internet service providers and data center operators from Central and Eastern Europe are participating in the event. The agenda combines technical workshops with professional presentations and offers plenty of time and space for social networking and bilateral talks.

2022-04-13 - Ripe SEE 10, 2022

The tenth regional meeting of network operators in south-eastern Europe ended yesterday in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The Interlan delegation participated in the panel dedicated to Internet Exchanges with an updated presentation of the TV Exchange media streaming platform (TVX InterLAN) made by Cristian Copcea, and Eric Andrei Băleanu contributed to the content of the event by participating in its Program Committee. The members of the delegation also had various discussions with the other participants which focused on both technical and regional cooperation issues, including those related to the seventh edition of RONOG, the event dedicated to telecommunications network operators in Romania, organized annually with the support of the Interlan Association.

The InterLAN delegation consisting of: Eric Băleanu, Cristian Copcea, Angela Stănescu and Andrei Dinu participates in the two days of presentations, tutorial sessions, workshops and free discussions.

2022-04-11 - General Assembly of the Interlan Association members 09.04.2022

On April 9th, 2022, the General Assembly of the Interlan Association members takes place, an event held in Râmnicu Vâlcea at the Grand Hotel Sofianu. The objective is to ensure the administrative and technical coordination necessary to enable the operation of decision making on future projects, as well as welcoming new members in the Association.
