APRICOT 2023 takes place in Manila, Philippines from February 20 to March 2, 2023 hosted by PhNOG, The Philippine Network Operators Group (PhNOG) and supported by DOST- Advanced Science and Technology Institute.

The event brings together some of the best specialists, network operators, researchers, internet service providers from over 50 countries. The 9-day summit consists of seminars, technical workshops, tutorials, peering forum, birds-of-a-feather (BOF) sessions, all aimed at spreading and sharing Internet-related knowledge in the Asia region Pacific.

APRICOT is an ideal opportunity for its participants to actively engage in discussions about current operational challenges and network technologies, as well as take part in guiding technology and operational trends to improve the global Internet.

The APNIC 55 meeting (the regional administrator of internet numbering resources in the Asia-Pacific region) also takes place during the event.

Members of the delegation had several interventions during the presentation sessions:

• During the Peering Forum: IXP Session, Eric Băleanu gave a brief presentation of the InterLAN Internet Exchange.

• During the NOG BoF session, Cristian Copcea spoke about the challenges faced by InterLAN as the host of RONOG.

• In the NOG Reports section, Eric Băleanu presented a report of the RONOG editions so far.
