InterLAN continues national expansion. Starting with 1 May 2016 InterLAN inaugurated a new POP in Krakow. Currently, the largest Internet Exchange in Romania, InterLAN Internet Exchange, owns 7 national and international POPs.

The InterLAN Association took part in the 28th Euro-IX Forum, organized in Luxembourg, The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg between 24 and 26 April 2016. This year’s forum had a record of 122 participants, representing 56 organizations (including 42 IXP-uri in 30 countries).

The Interlan Association took part in the event “Internet New Year 2016” organized by ISOC (Internet Society) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
